VAINE Issue 6: Place & Identity

Vaine Magazine issue 6 is finally out!! I am super stoked to be included in this issue, themed "Place & Identity", since it is a subject close and personal to me. Being a first generation immigrant is hard enough, but having been born in a country that you and whole world resents, is another layer of conflicting feelings and confused identity. (a crisis?) Artwork that I contributed are my first-ever cyanotypes, that dealt with Motherland and my relationship with it. The theme was the assignment, if I recall correctly, was "Reality". That was my version of belonging to "a reality" at the time.
